The Texas Bandmasters Association is proud to present
the fifth annual TBA Academy in conjunction with the
annual TBA Convention/Clinic. The TBA Academy is
designed for directors:
• beginning their teaching career in the Fall 2015
• with limited teaching experience
• new to Texas.
Directors will learn from the leaders in our profession—
an outstanding faculty of Texas music educators,
administrators, and law specialists. The wealth of
information gained from this Academy will prepare YOU
for success and help lay the foundation for YOUR career.

goals. This unique opportunity is not to be missed!
8:30 a.m. Check-in; Sessions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: $85 which includes one-year TBA membership.

CPE: Eight (8) Hours Continuing Professional Education
Credit. Must attend all sessions and complete the
curriculum.
Band Boosters - Friday, July 24
Sponsored by Conn-Selmer, Inc.
Nationally recognized music educator David Vandewalker will
present professional training for the important job of being a Band
Booster. Plus, Boosters can visit the TBA Exhibit Hall where close to
650 vendor booths from across the country display band products,
tour information, and the latest in fund raising opportunities.
• 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Lunch is not provided.
• Cost: $100 per school with no limit on the number of Boosters
attending from each school. Pre-register until July 1 by printing the
form found on the TBA website and mailing with your payment.
