Position Title: Low Brass Master Class Teacher

Position Description: Low Brass Instructor for Southwest ISD Schools
Southwest ISD is seeking an energetic, dynamic, and hard-working individual to teach high school and middle school Low Brass students for the 2017-2018 school year. The successful applicant will teach intermediate to advanced students in the fundamentals of musicianship and technique for students in grades 6-12 to include audition material for middle school and the TMEA All-State process. Teaching fundamentals of performance and musicianship are a must. The position is flexible for a maximum of 20 or 40 hours per week, dependent on need. A positive attitude and the ability to motivate students to practice and improve their playing skills is vitally important. The ability to integrate well with the directing staff will be a component of the position, as well as strong, organizational skills throughout the year are a must.
